2023-2024 Centerstage Season Outreach
Beyond building robots, our team built a device to help a local ALS patient regain partial use of his arm, designed and built accessible and economical robotics kits for engaging youth, mentored 5 FIRST LEGO League teams, assisted 13 FIRST Tech Challenge teams, and supported at least 12 other teams, with more to come next season after having worked with community organizations, the school district, and local public, private, and charter schools, started 6 new robotic clubs, taught free robotics summer camps for underserved students, reached over 4500 people through extensive outreach efforts, advocated for STEM funding at the local, State, and National level, plus worked in 9 countries on 5 continents to impact students with access limitations.
