Watch Our Robot Reveal Video!
As a community FIRST Tech Challenge competitive robotics team of middle and high-school students, members unite from across the SWFL region from 5 schools and 2 counties, including 3 rookie members, brand new to FIRST, and 4 members who each have 3-4 years of experience in FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and an additional 3-4 years of experience in FIRST LEGO League (FLL). We all share in the work of the team's efforts to design, build, and program a custom robot loaded with innovative features specific to our comprehensive game strategy, this Decode season. All members also support our extensive outreach programming and most are engaged in mentorship of other FTC and/or FLL teams, as our team has worked diligently to start many new teams across the area, including other community teams, private-school teams, and public-school teams to enable more Southwest Florida students to participate and enjoy the FTC experience, learning engineering, programming, collaboration, and communication skills while engaging in an exciting and competitive robotics challenge with the support and guidance of a network of student and professional mentors.
Established in 2018, the team has built a legacy of success as a 2022 World Championship Winning Alliance team, 2024 World Championship 2nd Place Connect Award, 2025 World Championship 2nd Place Design Award, 3x Florida State Inspire Award Winner (2022, 2024, 2025), 2023 Florida State Think Award, and 5x Gulf Coast League Inspire Award Winner (2021-2025). The team has sustained a high level of innovation and remained competitive at the International level, continually bringing in young rookie members who learn, actively contribute, and show a bright and promising future for the team for many seasons to come!
